SPEAKING AND PSYCHOEDUCATION

H1   Workplace and team mental health seminars across Ontario

SUBHEAD   Delivered across Ontario, built around the people in the room rather than a slide deck that gets reused.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Education, strategies, discussion, and activity

Sessions combine education, practical strategies, discussion, and interactive activities, so people leave with something they can use rather than something they sat through.

Topics can include stress management, emotional resilience, burnout, authenticity, building supportive workplace cultures, queer mental wellness, athlete mental wellness, or another area that matters to your group. If what you need is not on that list, it is worth asking.

WHO I WORK WITH

First responder, athlete, and workplace groups

Sports teams, first responder services, workplaces, community groups, and organizations supporting staff who are carrying a lot, or staff who are marginalized and underserved by general mental health programming.

EXPERIENCE

This comes from the therapy room

I am a Registered Psychotherapist in full-time practice, which means the material comes from clinical work rather than from theory alone.

First responder culture is also personal for me. People close to me work in the services, so I understand what the job asks of a team and what it asks at home.

I have worked with first responders through the Health Apples programme with Durham Regional Police Service, and spent a season and a half delivering monthly mental health seminars to the Trenton Golden Hawks of the Ontario Junior Hockey League.
